In Psalm 18 (ESV) these words rise up from within the passage to warm my heart today:
With the merciful You show Yourself merciful... for You save a humbled people... for it is You, Who lights my lamp, the Lord My God lightens my darkness...
Let us now as lantern wavers... Be Light! Go Shine!

Thank the Lord for lighting our way. In the last year of my Mom's life at age 79 in Bwater Nursing Home she memorized her last verse,
Prov 18:28 but her quote was "you light up my darkness". Even with her mental decline she wanted to have scripture read to her and hymns played. The Lord used her, even in her declining state, to
witness to the love and faithfulness of our God and Savior Jesus to those around her. If we're willing God can always use us.Praise his Holy name!
