Indeed, it is a New Year.
Thanks be to God for January and the fresh start of a New Year, however, it will be of little lasting value if we do not pray to Him and trust Him for a strong finish in December and beyond.
I have fought a good fight.
I have finished my course.
I have kept the faith.
