1 John 4:19 (NIV) -- We love because He first loved us.
Let's take time to saturate in the words of our glorified Christ that He spoke to accent the concept of "First Love", yes, words that were written down by John, the Beloved One, in Revelation 2:1-5 (NIV):
(1) "To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: 'These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: (2) I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. (3) You have persevered and have endured hardships for My name, and have not grown weary. (4) Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. (5) Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.'"
My Prayer: My God, I love you so much because You first loved me too much. Lord, I want my love for You and my love for others to be like a hot flame, not like cold wax. My desire is that I will not forsake my first love which is to love first. Finally, You are my "First Love" for forever and today. In Your name, Jesus, I humbly pray. Amen.
IF MY PEOPLE... WILL? I WILL! God's Promise in 2 Chron. 7:14.

I don't love God enough, for sure. Thanks.
What a debt of love I owe. Amen.
