Some on this Independence Day in the USA will celebrate freedom to sin. It will be short-lived. The greatest eternal freedom can now be ours through The Atonement of Jesus Christ — freedom from sin.
I love red, white and blue, but I love red best because it’s the color of the Blood of Jesus that was shed to give me/us power, yes power and freedom over sin.
I celebrate today and everyday knowing “there’s power in the Name of Jesus to break every chain” — every chain that binds me to sin. Freedom, indeed!
