"Drifting"

As I listened to Pastor Adrian Mills passionately preach a few weeks ago on "drifting," I wrote this personal prayer based on the key verse before the message concluded:

"Drifting"

Lord we have heard your word and... "We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away." -- ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭NIV

Drifting spiritually speaking is a dangerous situation for our souls, our families, the church.

Passivity in relationships is a problematic reality for our souls, our families, the church.

Backsliding as believers is a bad thing for our souls, our families, the church.

Losing our focus is a frightful thought for our souls, our families, the church.

Lacking intentional urgency is an unwise focus for our souls, our families, the church.

Dragging the anchor is a dreadful attitude for our souls, our families, the church.

Lord, help us to reclaim a right rhythm with Your presence and a right relationship with Your essence. Please renew our weakened urgency with Your strong fervency.

Save us Jesus, lest we are carried out by the sea currents of sin and are sadly swept away forever from Your Help, Your Hope and Your Holiness.

Amen and Amen!  -kww

HERE! Presence Matters Most!

No Invisible People! UNITY!
