In Revelation 1:8, the Glorified Jesus referred to Himself as "The Alpha and The Omega." Part of the meaning of this title is: "Whatever He starts, He will be there to complete."
With this idea in mind, I must admit that Philippians 1:6 is a great "Alpha and Omega" passage:
"I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]." Philippians 1:6 AMP
How encouraging is that!!!
P.S. Another synonym for "Alpha and Omega" that really intrigues me is: "lock, stock and barrel." I’m guessing "the whole kit and caboodle" works as well. :)
”I am the Alpha and the Omega [the Beginning and the End],” says the Lord God, “Who is [existing forever] and Who was [continually existing in the past] and Who is to come, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all].” Revelation 1:8 AMP
