Four Winds Forecast
Greetings Dearly Beloved Philadelphia District Pastors and Partners:
(I humbly ask each pastor and leader to carefully, prayerfully and thoroughly read this email for possible inspiration, useable information and increased communication. i am Grateful, very. pastor kerry)
"God’s Grace Truly Amazes Me!"
A Commentary by Pastor Kerry
Larnelle Harris sings a song that is embedded deep in my own heart; "Were It Not For Grace" is the song title. The words of the chorus really speak my soul own story:
"Were it not for grace,
I can tell you where I’d be;
Wandering down some pointless road to nowhere,
With my salvation up to me.
I know how that would go,
The battles I would face;
Forever running but losing the race, Were it not for grace."
I have spent a lifetime attempting to get my human brain wrapped around the indescribable idea of God’s holy grace. The longer I live as a God-loved Jesus-believer, the more God’s amazing attitude of undeserved favor towards me comes into focus. I am simply and profoundly overwhelmed by the countless ways He continuously and wondrously works in my own life. His grace and mercy are ever surrounding me on all sides.
Finally, let me say that as I serve as your d.s. -- yes, as your district servant -- the reality of God’s Grace Truly Amazes Me! I’m so tenderly grateful that I have not had to worry one moment about not having God’s face shining upon me. In four words, "I am a debtor."
Truly, my days so far as your district servant, including today, can best be described in two words I repeat often: "AMAZINGLY GRACED!"
I pray the same for you. I really do.

Here are a few FOUR WINDS Updates:
#1: FOUR WINDS / UPDATE -- Our 2nd Annual District Pastors and Leaders Christmas Gathering will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at our Ephrata Grace Point Church. (Save the Date: Official detailed invitation to follow.) If you attended last year, no doubt you’ll be back again. Nothing like the family gathering together for a light-hearted, yet love-laced Christmas Brunch. We’ve got some wonderful things planned for you, because you deserve wonderful things as pastors and leaders our district. And because we love you. Deal with it. :)
#2: FOUR WINDS / UPDATE -- Our Zone-Wide Gethsemane Gatherings held in September 2019 for the purpose of prayer partnership across Eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey will surely bear fruit that will last. Thanks so very much to those who purposely prepared the way for us to pray. Thanks also to those who hosted the gatherings, led the sacred prayers and were determined to be present to pray.
Remember, January 26, 2020, is our next Gethsemane Gathering Zone-Wide prayer date. Please mark your calendars. Zone leaders will follow-up with details. Surely, the district that prays together will celebrate God’s Presence and Power, together. And everyone said: "Amen!"
#3: FOUR WINDS / UPDATE -- PCDC is underway, again. 75 pastors and leaders were able to join us for our first session of PCDC (Pastors Career Development Center) at our Fairview Village Church on Monday, October 7, 2019. The Lord met us there. Many said it was among the best and most helpful PCDC sessions they’ve ever attended. We are humbled by God’s faithfulness and by yours.
Next PCDC session will be Monday, November 4, 2019, Fairview Village, 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

#4: FOUR WINDS / UPDATE -- Retired Pastors and Spouses Luncheon. We enjoyed a wonderful time together at Weaver’s in Denver, PA. Thanks to Rev. B.W. Hambrick and precious Melanie Cook for planning such a special time for us to celebrate those on whose shoulders we all stand. Pastor Jim Lucas led worship so beautifully, too. Reach out and encourage one of our retired brothers or sisters whenever you can.
We really do need Jesus and each other.
