On Mt. Moriah, Abraham held nothing back from God. There, he fully surrendered his son and his future — the two most dear things he had.
I remember in our Bible School days, Kim and I saved enough money somehow to buy two tickets to hear Larnelle Harris in concert at Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs. The night found its deepest meaning as I wept tears of full surrender in the mezzanine while Larnelle sang the song posted below. Ever since, it has been my goal to live in holy detachment from my own dreams and in total abandon to God’s desires.
