Day 4: Holy Land Highlights 2018

Tuesday in Israel is the double-blessing day, and surely it was that and more for 15th Anniversary Hearts Aflame Discipleship Journey.

Places we visited included:
• The Cliffs of Engedi where David spared Saul’s life,
• The Dead Sea where Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed,
• Jericho’s Spring of Elisha, The Mountain and Wilderness where Jesus was tempted — near The Valley of the Valley of the Shadow of Death and The landscape ofnthe Good Samaritan story,
• the hometown of Mary, Martha and Lazarus — Bethany,
• The Mount of Olives where Jesus walked down the Palm Sunday parade route,
• and finally, Gethsemane where Jesus prayed in agony to The Father: “Nevertheless, not my will but Thine be done!”
