Day 5: Holy Land Highlights 2018

Our Wednesday was full of wonder, love and praise. It was a day focused on Resurrection and Life, suffering and rejection. As well as our Lord’s care, presence and healing as The Good Shepherd of our souls.

We visited the Garden Tomb, the Sacred Pit under the High Priest’s house, and Bethlehem. In Bethlehem we went to a sacred spot for our Hearts Aflame Discipleship Journeys — the Shepherd’s Cave. After a God-present lesson on The 23rd Psalm, I anointed each head with oil, our cups were running over and Goodness and Mercy followed me and us the rest of the glorious day.

Mr. Edward Tabash’s new souvenir shop was our next stop. Then on the The Church of the Holy Nativity, where we gladly waited in line 2 hours with pilgrims of many nations to see and touch the spot where our Savior was born. Breath-taking!

Our day ended with a look at the old city of Jerusalem from the south at the Promenade overlook. A chilly wind blew in. It was invigorating.
