A word of warning for us today...
2 Peter 2:4a (NLT) -- "For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into Hell..."
Souls now in Hell realize that every prayer, every sermon, every gospel song that they ever heard was a lifeline thrown out from Heaven to rescue them from the awful whirlpool of sin. They now see that all churches, no matter how humble, were "Heaven’s Lifesaving Stations" along the River of Time, to stop perishing souls from going over the falls of Eternal Death. They also now realize the fact, that the Bible, the book they despised, was a great beacon of light sent from Eternity to Time, to lead fallen humanity to life. -- J.M. Humphrey, 1912

And, there is a Savior from Sin, Jesus, what a Friend!
