Why Does Heaven Weep?

Today, I just had to stop and photograph a statue I saw out of the car window. It was a weeping-in-prayer, stone angel. The citing troubled me deeply in a holy way. 

I invite you to take 5 minutes of silence today to imagine and maybe even to write down the likely answers to this question: "What makes Heaven weep?" Then pray a while about the things you imagined.

Hint: 2 Peter 3:8-9 came to my mind.
