In the Old Testament story of Job, Oswald Chambers writes this commentary quoting a writing originally penned by J.K. Chesterton:
"God comforts Job with indecipherable mystery, and for the first time Job is comforted. God simply refuses to answer and somewhere the question is settled. Job flings at God one riddle, God flings back at Job a hundred riddles, and Job is [somehow] at peace. He is comforted by conundrums [The marvelous mysteries of God]."
Lord, let me be comforted simply by the mysteries of Your great ways. In the Name of Jesus! -kww
