The old hymn titled “In Times like These We Need a Savior” was on my mind early this morning. The second line is “In Times Like These We Need an Anchor.”
i sure need a Savior and i am also convinced that only He can be The Anchor i need during times like these.
On my Dad’s gravestone these words are written: “Anchored in Jesus!” Those are words to die by but also those are words to live by. O yeah, and one more line is engraved on my Dad’s gravestone, a line that i penned:,”Love Never Fails and Hope Always Prevails!”
Here’s a link of the old hymn i references sung by an old voice from my grandparents’ and parents’ generation, a soloist for Billy Graham EvangelIstic Crusades, George Beverley Shea:
Hope Happens HERE!
Presence Matters Most!
No Invisible People! UNITY!
