Memory Lane — The Calling

This week, my wife, Kim and I, are spending a few days in Colorado Springs, Colorado, yes, the city we moved to from North Carolina in 1992 to train for full-time ministry. This week I am training to be a District Superintendent here. 

Yesterday, in our free afternoon and evening, we drove down memory lane, remembering the calling of God upon our lives. We drove past rental homes we lived in here, our favorite family restaurant, of course the Nazarene Bible College campus that is now closed and for sale. It was emotional walking those sacred grounds. We also visited Garden of the (Rock) gods and various cherished location in the shadow of Pikes Peak.
