Latest Results of Dad's CT Scan

Here are the good notes I took yesterday as Dad's doctor optimistically read the latest CT scan cancer results:

* Dad's Tumor has decreased more than half previous size... Yes, from 

6 to 3.2 centimeters in length

2.4 to 0.9 centimeters in width

* 2 more chemo treatments, then a pet scan to see more detail.

* The spots in vertebrae still show, but may be empty of cancer because scar tissue often continues to show on a CT scan.

* No new cancer spots.

* Previous cancer spots have all decreased. 

* Pet scan at a later date, maybe 5-6 weeks, will tell us more detail. (The bones will look same on CT but pet scan will reveal more clear results.)

 *Dad told doctor: "My faith is in the Great Physician and the knowledge he has given you." 

* Dr said: "Yes, indeed. You are on track. Numbers are all good. Blood work is good."

* I say, "Hallelujah!"
