Forgive Us For Taking Your Goodness For Granted

Our local church's monthly Executive Board Meeting on a Monday night, began with a heart-touching prayer by Brother Dwight. In the prayer he asked God to forgive us for too often taking His goodness for granted.

That transparent prayer of confession was a thread of inspiration until the very end of the meeting. At different intervals in the gathering, many of us in attendance paused to give thanks to God for His goodness and to also give thanks for others in the room. 

What a beautiful evening for my soul. I am still speechless with overwhelming appreciation to our Forever Faithful Father God.

Grateful
