Recently, my wife and I were shopping at a craft store in the Christmas season section. Suddenly I saw that one of the decorations had this message written on it:
Christ is the Season. We are the Reason.
It warmed my soul.
And of course, John 3:16-17 comes clear in my mind:
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.
