Lord, during this season leading up to the celebration of Your Resurrection, You invite me to enter more totally into the mystery of Your suffering. I believe You are inviting me into a deeper desire that I might continue to know You with ever-increasing intimacy. As I journey on the way that You have charted for me, help me to embrace the burdens that I am to bear for my own good and more especially for Your glory. If I know my heart, I have died to the desire to choose my own way and to want what I want. The goal is not to be a hero but a servant like You, who Loves You. In Your marvelous and matchless Name I pray. Amen.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. -- Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Count it all joy.

Draw me close to you
Never let me go
I lay it all down again
To hear you say that I'm your friend
You are my desire
No one else will do
Cause nothing else can take your place
To feel the warmth of your embrace
Help me find the way
Bring me back to you
You're all I want
You're all I've ever needed
You're all I want
Help me know you are near

I was singing that song deep in my soul a few hours ago. WOW! Thanks.
Amen.
Amen again.
Wonderful. May your heart's prayer be my heart's prayer as well.
Mark
Grateful you are praying with me.
