As Long As We Sing Praises to Our King

Could it be possible that as long as we sing praises to our King, that nothing can break us?

(1) I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. (2) I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. (3) Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name. -- Psalm 34:1-3 (TLB)

You keep me singing, Jesus. Amen.

IF MY PEOPLE... WILL? I WILL! God's Promise in 2 Chron. 7:14.

Unity with the Trinity realized in worship...worship the Father in (filled with the Holy Spirit) spirit and (yielded to Jesus)truth.

I think of Psalm 100:4; we are to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.

I remember during the most difficult time in my life, recognizing that I needed to give thanks and praise in all circumstances. My flesh didn't feel like doing it, but something happened when I took the first step. Power from the Holy Spirit rose up within me. I was filled with a supernatural ability to continue. It was an incredible time of blessing and closeness to God. I learned a very valuable lesson.

Blessings Kerry and family,
Terri

To God be the glory. I am encouraged by your comments ladies. Psalm 80 has been close to my heart today, too.

I'm not quoting any scripture here, so take it or leave it, but my experience has been similar to Terri's. When facing a difficult battle, I usually get down, continuing to get more discouraged as the battle rages. Then, when I decide with my will, and begin praising God no matter how my emotions feel, it's like God honors that decision. The devil loses his grasp and the battle turns in favor of righteousness, truth, and light. It may still be a tough fight, but somehow I know the game has changed for good.

I believe there is something that happens when I determine "I am going to praise God no matter what" and then start doing it. The forces of evil cringe and shrink back as the Father beams with joy, points down at a humble servant, and says "Just look at that faith."

Sounds very Scriptural to me. I will praise Him, especially in advance. Thanks.
