I received a mind-provoking e-mail this week from a lady in our local church named Ramona. The content of the e-mail is titled "SIX MINDS." It seems to be especially appropriate material for us to "MIND" at the beginning of a New Year (and beyond), for sure:
SIX MINDS:
1. Mind your TONGUE! Don’t let it speak hasty, cruel, unkind, or wicked words.
2. Mind your EYES! Don’t permit them to look on wicked books, pictures or objects.
3. Mind your EARS! Don’t suffer them to listen to wicked speeches, songs or words.
4. Mind your LIPS! Don’t let tobacco foul them. Don’t let strong drinks pass them. Don’t let the food of the glutton enter between them. Don’t let foul words proceed from them.
5. Mind your FEET! Don’t let them walk in the steps of the wicked.
6. Mind your HEART! Don’t let the love of sin dwell in it. Don’t give it to Satan but ask Jesus to make it His throne.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (NLT) -- But we can understand these things, for we have the MIND of Christ.
"IF MY PEOPLE... WILL? I WILL!" -- God's Promise in 2 Chron. 7:14.

MIND-boggling stuff for sure. But "we have the MIND of Christ."
