Add Singing To Your Praying

Are you discouraged in darkness? Do you need prison doors to open in your life? Why not add singing to your praying? They go together. In fact, they work wonders together!

(25) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises to God, while the other prisoners listened. (26) Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the jail to its foundations. The doors opened, and the chains fell from all the prisoners.
-- Acts 16:25-26 (CEV)

Satan's seeds of discouragement can never thrive in the heart of a grateful believer who will not quit praying and singing.

Autumn Applause For An Awesome Creator

Today, I was blessed to ride a friend's four-wheeler through the mountains that connect Virginia and West Virginia. It was an amazing experience to see the seasons changing as the setting sun provided a golden heavenly light on the breath-taking fall foliage. If the autumn colors do not confirm that we have an Awesome Creator, I don't know what does! It was apparent to me that the marvelous mountains and the brilliant trees were united in glorious singing and adoring applause for our Almighty God.

The mountains and hills will burst into song and the trees of the field will clap their hands! -- Isaiah 55:12 (NLT)

As Long As We Sing Praises to Our King

Could it be possible that as long as we sing praises to our King, that nothing can break us?

(1) I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. (2) I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. (3) Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name. -- Psalm 34:1-3 (TLB)

You keep me singing, Jesus. Amen.

IF MY PEOPLE... WILL? I WILL! God's Promise in 2 Chron. 7:14.

Just Keep Swimming <'(())>< Part 2

My friend Marcus sent me this half-minute YouTube clip from Finding Nemo that accents wonderfully yesterday's blog post. So today, on this last day of 2009, I say Keep Swimming and again I say, Just Keep Swimming! <'(())><

From Psalm 27:14 (NKJV), let these ten words encourage you (put courage in you): Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart...

<'(())>< Just Keep Swimming, Praying, Singing, Believing! <'(())><

ALL... JOY TO YOUR WORLD!
