"Without Me, you can do nothing." Words of the Lord Jesus, John 15:5
It’s sad how we as humans get the ignorant idea that we are just fine tending to ourselves. We foolishly believe we are good apart from the Lord Jesus, yes, that we are good on our own, even independent -- at times near invincible -- and surely we often think we are self-sufficient.
In my nearly 58-plus years on the planet, I have learned a few things. Let me share three:
1. When our human resources dry up we quickly realize we are surely not self-sufficient.
2. When our physical health fails we find out we are not even close to independent and especially we are not anywhere near invincible.
3. When we grow older in our years it becomes very evident that we are not at all good on our own.
In conclusion, the question is not do we need the Lord Jesus, it’s when will we come to know and even cry out: "Lord Jesus, i Need You!"
i personally, have already come to know i need the Lord Jesus many times and i have already cried out to Him on countless occasions and i now i continue to cry out nonstop: "Lord Jesus, i Need You!" (i also want You Lord Jesus!)
Presence Matters Most!
That is... Presence. Unity. Souls. Love.
