These wonderful words from God’s Holy Word fill my heart with the overflow of awe and wonder, today:
“There are three things — faith, hope and love — that keep on forever; but the greatest of these is love. Let love be your greatest aim...”
1 Corinthians 13:13-14:1a (Living Letters)
Pray with me:
Lord, let it be said of me that my greatest aim was the greatest of all, the Love of God.
My faith and hope, yes all else I might need or desire, rests in the reality of Your great Love.
Lord forbid that Your Love would ever escape me. Let me know Your Love and let Your Love flow not only to me but through me so that Your Love will not escape, but truly embrace, everyone I encounter.
In Your Love-saturated Name, I pray. Amen.
