Be Like Christ -- In Temptation, an Overcomer

A sacred time of saturating in the Luke 4 account of our Lord's Wilderness Temptation at the hands of the devil, is to come away with this bold confidence:

With Christ reigning in me, in any and in all seasons of strong, even satanic temptation, I can be -- like Christ -- an overcomer! 

My prayer: Jesus, with You reigning within me, no matter how close temptation comes to my life, I have this blessed assurance... You are closer still! You have made me glad and triumphant for Your Glory and my good. Amen.
