A dear 80-year-old, Brother Aaron "Shorty" Rodes, gave this reply when asked if he would continue to lead Bible Studies as a life group leader in our local church's discipleship efforts:
"I have...
diabetes,sleep apnea,
open heart surgery,
spot on my vocal cord,
can’t speak loudly,
use a walker
and I have come to the conclusion that the enemy is just trying to slow me down so (that perhaps) I won’t lead a life group….
...so I intend to keep leading a life group!”
