More Than a Holiness Theorist

When it comes to the holy life, I want to be more than a theorist, I want to be a practitioner, yes one who not only thinks and talks about holiness but one who actually participates in and proves holiness to be real. More than learning holiness, I want to live holiness.

...live holy lives, because if you don’t, you will not see the Lord.
-- Hebrews 12:14b (GWT)

The thing that happens when we complete the process
of dying-to-self is that we are so focused on what God wants
that it is no longer important to consider what we want.
We have learned to trust God completely and know that He
will look out for our needs and desires so that we
don't have to even think about them any more.

Living in desperation and expectation of His Holy Presence.

One author said this: "...internal transformation that has external implications..." (David Platt,Radical) If we don't live it out I would question if we have it "in."
