To Truly Believe? A Test of Love.

The real challenge is to allow yourself to be forgiven, to be healed, to be given something. To truly believe "God yearns to wipe away all your guilt and shame and give you a new heart and new spirit" is a test of love. -- Henri Nouwen

(16) God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die. (17) God did not send His Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent Him to save them! (18) No one who has faith in God's Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn't have faith in Him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son. -- John 3:16-18 (CEV)

Lord, help our unbelief... Amen.

Hello, I come to you with another heartfelt prayer request on behalf of my friends:http://www.drawnfromwater.org/blog
They run an orphanage in Ethiopia, and things have been getting tough, considering all the commotion there lately (regarding the orphans).
Please say a prayer or two on their behalf. Thank you. Love =)

I had Bethany read these two verses to me a few days ago...now they have been used in several places since then. God's timing is never off...good verses to take to heart.

I have been praying for Ethiopia this morning Catalina. Surely God must be extrememly focused on Ethiopia today. I was floored when I saw your request after I had just been praying for the people there. WOW!

And Kim, thanks for your comments. Another God-coincidence, heh :-). The same verses you were focused on were on my heart for today's blog. WOW again.

David said in Psalm 63, Your love is better than life. Knowing the Lord and experiencing a taste of how wide, how deep and how great His love is, IS better than life itself. Truly, better is one day in His courts than a THOUSAND elsewhere(Psalm 84).

I say "AMEN!" to that!
