So, I Humbly Ask for Your Support...

One thing I enjoyed most about being a local church pastor was raising faith through raising funds. In other words, I truly miss being able to ask people face-to-face on a regular basis to give generously of their time, talent, touch and yes, especially their treasures to the God-given mission and vision we were called to support as a community of Jesus-believers.

Now, as a district servant (superintendent), while I continuously ask for prayer partners in the new vision and mission God has now entrusted to me, I haven’t yet figured out how to ask others to join me in the financial giving of the vision and mission.

I have led two well-attended District Lordship Lifestyle Workshops to equip and encourage local pastors how to better raise faith and funds in their own local churches, nevertheless, I am still trying to find an avenue to ask for funds to help facilitate district-wide opportunities to further serve people and projects that are not specifically tied to local churches. The needs are massive in the city of Philadelphia, alone. The opportunities are wide open across Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

So, in conclusion, I do have a fund setup at the district office called "The District Servant’s (Superintendent’s) Discretionary Fund." While it’s still not always easy to know how to invite people to give to this fund, at least it is officially in place and some have given to it.

"So, I humbly ask for your support..." if it would bring you personal joy to give above and beyond your own local church tithing/giving to invest extra generosity in my direction. Whether your gift would be small or large, one-time or ongoing -- the point is this -- your partnership matters to me. No intimidation, only invitation.

Here’s the detailed information in case you’re inclined now or later to enter in and embrace my immediate God-given mission and vision invitation:

Checks payable: Philadelphia District Church of the Nazarene

Memo: District Servant’s (Superintendent’s) Discretionary Fund

Mail to:

Philadelphia District Church of the Nazarene

P.O. Box 259

Royersford, PA. 19468

I am grateful for your considerations, alone. Because of God’s grace and mercy towards me, I am a debtor to Jesus, and to you, and to everyone everywhere.

Presence Matters Most! No Invisble People.

UNITY!

Pastor Kerry Willis
