Let the Darkness be Flooded with Light

Today, as I read through Luke 11:33-34, from the Living Gospels Paraphrase of the Holy Bible, the words about light and darkness that Jesus spoke surely align with Advent:

"No one lights a lamp and hides it! Instead he puts it on a lampstand to give light to all who enter the room. Your eye lights up your inward being. A pure eye let’s sunshine into your soul. I lustful eye shuts out the light and plunges you into darkness. So watch out that the sunshine isn’t blotted out. If you are filled with light within, with no dark corners, then the outside will be radiant too, as though a flood light is beamed upon you."

Be Light. Go Shine. Let the darkness be flooded with light -- yes, let the beaming floodlight of The One Who is The Light of the World, Jesus Himself, shine upon us and reflect from within us.

Presence Matters Most! No Invisible People!

UNITY!
