Romans 8:2 -- Holy Inheritance

Are we living in our inheritance?

Do we believe in a Grace that is amazing enough to change "a sinner" (someone belonging exclusively to the devil) into "a saint" (someone who belongs exclusively to The Lord)?

Romans 8:2 is powerful. "The standards of the Spirit, who gives life through Christ Jesus, have set you free from the standards of sin and death." (GWT)

Every Sin-Stained, Hell-Deserving Sinner...

The cry of Jesus on the Cross ,"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" reveals God's Holy Heart coming face-to-face with our deepest sin. Indeed, the cry of Jesus from the Cross goes deeper than our sin can ever go. Because Jesus cried out to His Father in desperation, "My God? Why?", we can really know that His piercing cry goes to the deepest depths of unimaginable, human heartbreak, meaning that every sin-stained, hell-deserving sinner can be absolutely redeemed, rescued.

Love So Amazing! Indeed!

One Sinner...

...one sinner can destroy much that is good.
-- Ecclessiastes 9:18b (NLT)

Lord, You gave Your Life for us so we could turn our hearts forever away from sinning to worshipping You always. Amen.
