Our being with God is of use only as we expend its precious benefits on men. --E. M. Bounds
Monasticism was only a success when; as with the Celtic Monks, the Lollards, and Francis of Assisi; seeking God in prayer and in His Word was coupled with a missionary zeal to reach the lost with the Good News of Jesus Christ. -- Monk Preston
(35) Jesus went to every town and village. He taught in their meeting places and preached the good news about God's kingdom. Jesus also healed every kind of disease and sickness. (36) When He saw the crowds, He felt sorry for them. They were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (37) He said to his disciples, "A large crop is in the fields, but there are only a few workers. (38) Ask the Lord in charge of the harvest to send out workers to bring it in."
-- Matthew 9:35-38 (CEV)
Count it all joy. (James 1:2-4)

Lord of the Harvest
(37) Jesus said to His disciples, "The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few. (38) So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send out more workers for His fields."
-- Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV)

"Lord of the Harvest" lyrics:
See the fields, ripe and white as snow
Up from the seeds of faith we planted long ago
So many the hearts in season
With every prayer they've grown
You have made them ready
but we must bring them home
Chorus:
Lord of the harvest place your fire in me
Servants you need now, a servant I will be
Give me the eyes of Your Spirit,
Your heart of compassion to know
Lord of the harvest, show me where to go
Time like a free wind, so quickly slips away
Too soon today's tomorrow, too soon they're yesterday
So little time for the reaping and the laborers are few
Lift your head to the fields of white
There's work that we must do
Refrain:
Wherever you may lead me
Lord of the Harvest I'll Go
IF MY PEOPLE... WILL? I WILL! God's Promise in 2 Chron. 7:14.
Grateful
