"The crucified Christ and the crucified Christian belong to each other. As Christians, we glorify in the Cross because it makes us partners in His death and victory that has already been accomplished, and in which the deliverance from the powers of the flesh and of the world has been secured (for us) in Him." -- Andrew Murray

The Holy Spirit Brings The Holy Cross
Galatians 2:20 (NIV) -- I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
"The Holy Spirit brings the (Holy) Cross into our hearts... It is only as we have been crucified with Christ that we can receive the full power of the Holy Spirit. When we do not realize how necessary it is to die to all earthly things, The Holy Spirit cannot gain full possession of us."
-- Andrew Murray
My Prayer:
Lord, I want Galatians 2:20 to be more than just my life-verse. I want it to be Your Life's Voice in me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Grateful

An Actual Abiding -- A Definite Indwelling
"Let us believe that when The Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20, 'I
myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me,' he spoke of an actual abiding (a
definite indwelling) of Christ in him. Christ was working in him to do all that
was well-pleasing to the Father."

To Pray is...
To pray is to enter into God's presence, to have distinct dealing with Him, to
commit our need to Him and to leave it there.
-- Andrew Murray
Lord, remind me that when I pray I can just say aloud my needs and in hearing myself speaking to You my faith will be helped immensely. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Much Prayer, Much of the Holy Spirit
In the history of the Church two great truths stand out: Where there is
much prayer there will be much of The Holy Spirit; where there is much of The
Holy Spirit, there will be ever-increasing prayer.

Our Link to the King

If so, let us pray, now.

If We Study the Life of Christ...
The believer who studies the life of Christ as the promise of what his/hers may be, learns to understand how the "Without Me you can do nothing," is but the forerunner of "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." We learn to glory in sufferings, to take pleasure in necessities and distresses for Christ's sake; for "When I am weak, then I am strong."

Spiritual Unity

Partnering with Christ in Intercessory Prayer
Intercession (praying for others) is an essential element in God's redeeming purpose, so much so, that without it the failure of God's purpose may lie at our door. Christ's intercession in Heaven is essential to His carrying out of the work He began upon earth, but He calls for the intercession of the saints in the accomplishment of His object.
-- Andrew Murray
Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
-- Romans 8:34 (NLT)
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. -- Ephesians 6:18 (NLT)
Let us cry out to the Lord and let us cry out with the Lord -- both day and night -- partnering with Him in praying passionate and persistent prayers of compassionate intercession.

Urge Us to Pray
The thought that God is longing to find His home and His rest in the hearts
of people will urge us to pray. All the thoughts of our weakness and
unworthiness will be swallowed up in the wonderful assurance that God has
spoken concerning His desire to dwell in humans hearts.
-- Andrew Murray paraphrased

Father will love them, and We will come and make Our home with each of

Humility is...
Humility is perfect quietness of heart. It is to expect nothing, to wonder at
nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing done against me. It is to be at rest
when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised. It is to have a
blessed home in the Lord, where I can go in and shut the door, and kneel to my
Father in secret, and am at peace as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around
and above is trouble. -- Andrew Murray

Communion With God, Communication With People
The blessings of communion with God can easily be lost by entering too deeply into communication with people. The spirit of inner prayer must be carried over into a holy watchfulness throughout the day. -- Andrew Murray

Pride is From Hell
Blessed are the meek...
Let us surrender our lives entirely to the Blood of the Lamb, exchanging our pride for His meekness.
Grateful.
-- Words of Jesus in Matthew 5:5a (KJV)
There is no way to get to Heaven except by meekness, by entirely dying
to our pride, and by living entirely in the lowliness of Jesus. Pride gives no
rest. Pride is from Hell. Pride must die or nothing of Heaven can live in
us.
-- Andrew MurrayLet us surrender our lives entirely to the Blood of the Lamb, exchanging our pride for His meekness.
