When God is Silent…

Saint Ignatius of Antioch, who was a disciple of the apostle John, wrote, "Whoever has understood our Lord’s words, understands His silence, because God is known in His silence."

God restrains His voice at times in a Christian’s heart to grow closer to us. We must hold fast to the truth that even when God is silent, He is closer than the air we breathe.
