Atoned & Adopted -- The Inheritance Line

1 John 4:13 is one of many verses in God's Word that calls me to always live at or above (but never below) the inheritance line, that is, surely available to me as an atoned and adopted child of the Living Father God.

Here's the verse: "We know that we live in Him and He lives in us because He has given us His Spirit." (1 John 4:13 GWT)

So glad I'm a part of the family of God!

I have experienced another kind of adoption. My Heavenly Father has chosen to call me His child, because I have chosen to place my faith and trust in the work of Jesus on the cross. Christ died in my place and atoned for my sins, and now I am adopted into His family. What a sweet thing it is to be able to come before the King of the universe and intimately experience Him as my Father.
