People Need Encouragement

i have come to know that all of us as people desperately need encouragement. Encouragement breeds hope and hope is what allows our souls to breathe.

i was taught from childhood: "If you cannot say something kind and encouraging, remain silent."

It doesn’t mean we fake it until we make it. And surely, we know life can sometimes be discouraging. The point is, as my Dad often said: "If you’re gonna hang your head, hang it up so you can see the face of God."

The Apostle Paul wrote his New Testament letter to the Philippians from a prison. And did he write discouragement. No. In fact, Philippians is called by many "The Letter of Joy!"

So when i say, "People Need Encouragement," what i am really saying is let’s be among those who live life to "bring the joy" in the midst of the journey. And always hold up hope regardless of the heaviness. Amazing grace should always make us optimistic.

Hope Happens HERE!
