“Disturb Us, Lord...” / Prayer

A friend sent me this prayer this morning, saying she thought of me and my church staff (vision crew) when she came across it...

Try, try again! I'm beginning again (and again), cheerfully aware that at this point, as I still work with the prayer above, no one is likely to notice. Which makes me smile, because this comment is for You, our Captain and King.

Dreaming isn't enough. Awaken me, awaken us, to be transformed from glory in the Son, the Risen One who is All-in-All, Beginning and End! How can we sleep, invited into the adventure that is You? Be our life! Be mine! You who are Maker and Ruler of all things, form Your image fully in us and reign!

For the third time today, Lord, I give myself again completely to You. Have your way in me.

Thanks Bonnie. I am just figuring out a new blogger application which makes it seemingly more difficult for me to check and reply
