i absolutely love Acts 3:14-15, where we can hear Peter preaching at Pentecost on the Southern Steps of the Temple Staircase to those in Jerusalem: "You rejected Jesus… You killed the Author of Life, BUT God raised Him to life. And we are witnesses of this fact!"

I awoke early this morning with this prophetic verse of healing that ushers in joy clearly lifting my heart: 

"But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture." ‭‭Malachi‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ NLT

New Mercy Every Single Day

Dearest Abba Father, please help me to take just one day at a time and to remember moment-by-moment that You are totally trustworthy. Cause me to know that You will see to it that Your new mercy surely renews every single day for the rest of my life. Be my Life, Lord. i love You and i need You, for forever and today. Amen. -kww

Been in the Holy Land

Sorry i haven’t posted on a more regular basis lately but i have been in the Holy Land leading a discipleship journey for the past 9 days or so. If you follow me on Facebook you have likely been inundated with inspiration and information and images. 

Anyway, today was our last day in Israel, and we were at the battlefield where David killed Goliath, 1 Samuel 17. We were also at Emmaus, Luke 24 and then at the Joppa Seaport. Read Jonah 1. 

Hope to be back in rhythm with my blog-posting in a few days.

At EnGedi Today, along the Dead Sea

i wept publicly, nevertheless, unashamedly, today, as i read aloud 1 Samuel 24:1-22 and then from 2 Samuel 9:1-13 to our #HeartsAflame #DiscipleshipJourneys’ group at EnGedi — “the rocks of the wild goats” — the cliffs along the Dead Sea where David hid from King Saul. David’s loving-kindness expressed for even King Saul, who wanted to kill him, but especially for Jonathan and later Jonathan’s crippled son, Mephiboshet, moved me as deeply as i have ever been moved. Just sayin’…. i am so Grateful for the kindness of the Lord’s Presence in my life.
