An Old "Almighty" Hymn

My Dad always kept with his Bible an old Hymn Book for his quiet time with the Lord. Of late, I've placed an old hymnal in one of my quiet places as well.

This morning, Martin Luther's old anthem, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God", grabbed my soul. The words are so wonderful. The second and third verses especially speak to me.
