Stripes on the Candy Cane

When we see the stripes on the Christmas Candy Cane, let us remember:

He was whipped, and we were healed! -- Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)

Lord, by Your stripes we are healed. We are humbled. Amen.

    By his stripes we are healed refers to our sins, not a physical healing. Some faith teachers misquote this scripture taking it out of context. They will claim you must have enough faith to be healed. If this were true according to the scripture then how do you know you have enough faith to be sure your sins are forgiven? We are healed through prayer and faith in God and if it be his will you will be healed!
